Steve and his crews delivered exactly the help I needed when I needed it. Steve was able to schedule and manage multiple work crews to meet an extremely aggressive schedule. The job entailed significant wall and floor covering changes throughout the house. The work was done professionally with excellent results at fair pricing.

Most importantly, Steve was able to adapt on the fly as requirements changed while work was being performed. Twice, after completion of the project, Steve was able to help me with modest bolt-on tasks that were outside of the original scope of work.

While the work crews had many talented members, a special shout-out goes to Steve’s associate, Victor, who demonstrated exceptional skill and attention to detail with an unsurpassed work ethic, staying late and working weekends to get the job done.

Beyond the job, itself, I sincerely appreciate the way the work was done.

Steve was very responsive and answered questions and concerns very quickly (and after completing all the work to make it market ready to sell, it took less than a week to sell). The quotations for the work were produced quickly, and were reasonable both in dollars and time. The work was started and completed on the quoted schedule. In some cases, I had to change the schedule or the work scope at short notice and he accommodated the changes immediately. The painters were extremely clean, quiet and did good work. The carpet took more than a full day to lay, and the personnel stayed late to complete the job the same day, thereby minimizing disruption in our house. I would not hesitate to recommend Steve to anybody who needs general contracting jobs.

SFCC Remodeling was a lifesaver and exceeded our expectations with our remodeling project. While on vacation, a water pipe burst in our upstairs bathroom and leaked for at least ten days before it was discovered. Approximately 30% of our home had water damage. Steve Wichnoski with SFCC Remodeling promptly developed a plan to repair the damage, worked with our insurance agent, and sat down with us to walk through every aspect of the remodeling process. The work was done professionally and on a timely basis. Any construction issues were explained to us in detail, and we were always given options along with their pros and cons on how to resolve those problems. In the end, every one of our instructions was executed to our specifications. Anything that needed to be adjusted, Steve fixed quickly. “We needed a full roof replacement. Steve with SFCC Remodeling came through with a superb job well done. The leaking roof was likely original to the 50 year old house and had thin dry rotten delaminating plywood with visible holes in portions of the fascia. Steve’s crew completely removed the old sheathing and shingles and then installed new 5/8” real cross-laminated plywood decking and beautiful architectural shingles. The attic space now has a code compliant venting system with ridge cap vents and continuous soffit intakes. All eaves and fascia boards were replaced as well. For an added touch, the chimneys are sealed with dark bronze anodized aluminum flashing. All waste materials were removed and the yard was left clean. The staff was courteous, and our brand new roof came in on-time and on-schedule. Thank you SFCC!”
