This is a recently completed project in the town of Marvin, NC. The scope included demolishing an existing sun room, adding a room onto the house, and adding a covered outdoor living area with a full kitchen.
In the outdoor kitchen area, our client decided to have a clear span between the opening, instead of four support post that would obstruct the view. The clear span was created in the middle of the job, and we had to get an I-beam engineered and wrap it in cedar, but the end result looks great. The ceiling outside is Cyprus, which is a great choice for an outdoor living area. The color of the stain, which adds a rich color to the kitchen, was chosen by the client. The inside ceiling is V-grove with cedar beams to enhance overall look.
We thoroughly enjoyed all of the different aspects of this project. The combination of textures and colors really makes it a one-of-a-kind living area that the clients will enjoy for many years to come.
“We are very pleased with our completed projects, both our Sunroom and Outdoor Kitchen. We have received a lot of compliments followed with who did the work and can I get their information for something I am thinking about? The job from beginning to end was very smooth with little interruption to our daily lives. Communication was great on what to be expected through each part of the process and at the end of each day the work site was always left clean. I would recommend Steve and his crew for anyone if asked and I will keep him in mind for any future projects we may have!”
